Same here. I believe offline small businesses have a tremendous opportunity to turn Internet into a passive income stream.
However, you gotta put money into their pockets first with their main business. I've found most offline small businesses struggle with Internet marketing ideas. They see and believe that an Online presence can help them somehow, but they're a bit jaded. Many of them have been burned in the past.
So the approach is to get them to walk before they can run. Get them to trust you. The best way to build trust is to make money for them.

One of the areas of interest for me is helping small businesses find ways to expand their business into the Internet. More than advertising and promotion, I want to help them figure out how their Internet presence can be a profit center.
